'The Feathered Nest is a modern British Inn, delivering relaxed and welcoming fine dining in the heart of the Cotswolds'
Set in the heart of the Cotswold, this 3 AA Rosette hidden gem is tucked away in a small picturesque village of Neather Westcote. One of the most exclusive locations in the Cotswold, residents of Nether Westcote palatial homes have included a string of footballers and celebrities, including Jeremy Clarkson, David Beckham and Kate Winslet.
A stone throw away from Burford overlooking Evenlode valley, Matt Weedon and his team are working tirelessly to showcase some of best produce found in the local area.

Any business wanting to survive in this well-heeled environment certainly needs to be in a league of its own - and The Nest does not disappoint!
Home-curing, lightly smoking, jelly setting and Josper fighting are just some of the highlights to expect when you walk through this once restored 17th Century Malt House.
Once inside, the lightly charred log burning smell is the first thing to welcome you in. On my short voyage to the watering hole, we mount the old leather saddle chairs and cast our eyes over the wide selection of carefully hand picked poisons to choose from. Hawkstone Lager, Sapsucker Ale and Runart Blanc de Blanc are some of the pours to get you started. Theres no cheap fizz to massage the egos of influencers here. 'Top Tear' dining at its finest!
I folded to the Farmers' hype and went for Clarksons Hawkstone lager, the early onset of evaporation set in and another was ordered shortly after. The French Martini at £16 sterling was Katies tipple which was thoroughly appreciated.
After gazing through the bottom of our glassware, we both wondered downstairs to slump in front of the open fireplace to do a spot of menu reading. Hard life but someone has to do it!
Dining at The Nest
Theres a lot to love about this menu, the nod to high quality local produce was showcased throughout. Yellowfin Tuna, Longhorn Beef and Local Lamb were just some of the highlights to look forward to.
The menu reads very well but somewhat none descript. DONT let this fool you. I can assure you within the commas of the descriptions a lot of hard work, processes and skilled chefs at the top of their game have gone into producing such well thought out food.
